Nicolò Rovella goes to Lazio: the official announcement and the transaction formula
The reinforcement for Sarri’s midfield is official.
Nicolo Rovella is from Lazio. Or, to be more precise, he will be for the next two seasons. In fact, the biancoceleste club announced on Wednesday his arrival from Juventus on a two-year loan. His transfer will be mandatory and definitive after this period, but only in the presence of some unspecified results that the Capitolini will have to achieve on the field.
“S.S. Lazio,” reads the official note on the club’s website, “announces that it has reached an agreement with Juventus F.C. and the player Nicolò Rovella for the temporary two-year transfer of the sports contract with the obligation to transform it into a definitive transfer upon the occurrence of certain sports results.
Nicolò Rovella, born in 2001, is coming off an excellent season with the Monza shirt and during his still young professional career he has only ever played in Serie A. After three seasons at Genoa, he joined the Juventus roster for the first time at the start of the 2022-2023 season. While playing each of the Bianconeri’s opening three matches in that league, he moved to Brianza on a dry loan deal on August 31.
Rovella’s move to Lazio, moreover, may not be the biancocelesti’s only transaction from Juventus. In the same hours, in fact, the final details are being ironed out for the return to the capital of Luca Pellegrini after the 7 appearances he made in the last championship.
