Catanzaro joins Parma at the top, Brescia gets “revenge” on Cosenza
A new leader, a big win on the debut.
Serie B salutes a pair of teams that after three days lead the standings and can cradle the very first dreams of promotion. In addition to Parma, in fact, at 10 points is Vincenzo Vivarini’s Catanzaro, capable of beating debutant Lecco in Padua. The'other team in its first season in the league è Brescia, which beats at home the same Cosenza that had forced it into temporary relegation to C after last season's playout.
For Catanzaro arrives a bombastic 4-3 in the away match in Veneto (Lecco’s field is not è homologated): double Giallorossi advantage with Iemmello and Vandeputte, Novakovich and Caporale find the Larian draw, then the Calabrians win the victory with the goals of Verna and Donnarumma in the final five minutes.
