With only three points in the Sprint will be World Champion

This is it. Verstappen sees his third World Championship. After dominating the entire season, the Dutchman is ready to boast the title of World Champion. He will have his first match point already in the Sprint of the Qatar GP, the sixth to last round of the F1 World Championship.

The Red Bull star only needs to score three points in the Sprint (so he only needs to finish at least sixth) to enjoy the title and live the Sunday GP with relative calm. If he succeeds, he would equal a certain Schumacher, who was able to win the 2002 World Champion title with six races d'advance. For the sake of the record, there were 17 GPs in the season at the time of Schumi’s record (22 today) but it matters little. For Verstappen it would be another huge personal achievement to brag about.

Schumacher, in 2002, won, mathematically, the World Championship title in France, Verstappen è ready to do so in Qatar. With three titles in his pocket, the Dutchman would join, in the All Time standings, people like Senna, Piquet, Lauda, Stewart and Braham. It should be remembered that, with four World Championships, there are Prost and Vettel. He will try to grab them next year.
