Time to verify them will come, but the premises seem encouraging.

Ferrari optimistic in preparation for 2024. The Cavallino is working on the single-seater that will take to the track in the next Formula 1 season, and wants to build on last year’s good signs by improving where there were problems. And in that sense the first signals from the simulator seem extremely encouraging.

According to what was learned and disseminated by the 'Corriere dello Sport' on Friday, the next Ferrari already looks faster in simulations by about seven tenths compared to the last version of the SF-23. That is, the one that allowed Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to play for second place in the constructors’ standings with Mercedes.

Rory Byrne, a name dear to Cavallino fans for his work during the years when Michael Schumacher was at Maranello, would also be working on the new Ferrari. Optimism is, however, also accompanied by caution at the moment, taking into account that the track test is missing (Leclerc and Sainz will take to the track for the first time after Feb. 13, the day of the single-seater presentation). And in addition; it will be crucial to check the progress of the competition as well, Red Bull in the lead.
