The gold è was won by Yani Chang, in her first success from 3 meters, who preceded compatriot Ywen Chen, silver, and Korean Suji Kim, bronze medalist. The other Italian competing, Elena Bertocchi, è stopped in the semifinals, 18th overall.
Tomorrow’s platform final will feature two Italian nationals, Riccardo Giovannini and Andreas Sargent Larsen, who placed 13th and 18th respectively in the preliminaries.
Both hope to win the Olympic card, which è safe for the top 12 and possible for the first excluded.
