Marc Marquez è lapidary about the peace with Valentino Rossi
.
The war between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi seems to never end even though the two have long since ceased to be rivals on the track. In an’interview with DAZN Spain in fact, the Spaniard six-time MotoGP world champion has refreshed the controversy that has been going on since 2015.
Marquez è freshly landed at Ducati after a lifetime at Honda and the move to the Gresini team that competes in the premier class with bikes from the Borgo Panigale manufacturer could perhaps be a reason for peace between the two rivals.
But Marquez does not è take the same view. In fact, when asked if è it is possible that peace with Valentino could come this year, the Cervera native, who turned 31 on Saturday, said this: “It’s not up to me”.
“I have been lucky enough to face him, to beat him, to have him beat me one year and also to be able to share the field with him to learn from him, they have been great years”, added Marquez, who this year crossed paths with Rossi during some Superbike tests in which they both participated but without ever meeting up close.
