Walter Novellino, at the microphones of Tv Play, takes the side of Massimiliano Allegri, the Juventus coach who often ends up in the crosshairs of criticism, both from insiders and from Juventus fans dissatisfied with the quality of the Old Lady’s game.

"È it is unthinkable to criticize a coach like Allegri – explains the seasoned Irpinian technician -: we are talking about one who has won so much, then è clear that there are years in which you struggle". 

"Those who do not win are criticized, not one who has won as much as he has. Then one maybe canò say ‘sì but at Juventus…’ toò you have to know how to manage players and heè good at that" adds Novellino.

Novellino, 71 years old to be completed in June, has won four promotions to Serie A in his long and brilliant coaching career: with Venezia in 1998, Napoli in 2000, Piacenza in 2001 and Sampdoria in 2003.
