Juan Martin Del Potro è candid about the dualism between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz

During a talk on the ATP's "Twitch" channel, former tennis player Juan Martin Del Potro, among other topics, was blunt about the dualism between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, who are destined to be the main faces of the next era of tennis. In addition, the Argentine also wanted to dwell on Rafael Nadal.

"I love watching Alcaraz play because heè has a freshness and a naturalness when he moves on the court that makes him look like a 30-year-old guy who è been on the circuit for 10, but in reality heè è still very young. It's good for tennis that there is this duality with Sinner. First there was Agassi and Sampras, then Roger, Rafa and Novak and now it is their turn to symbolize the next era of tennis" began the Argentine tennis player as quoted in "OA Sport".

"We have to metabolize the fact that the Big 3 era is now in its final credits. Federer has quit, but his legacy is there and always will be. And now Nadal is allowing himself the pleasure of retiring in his own way and on his own terms. What he is doing è impressive and watching him play gives you that energy that characterized him even when I confronted him. He's unique in that and I don&#39t know if in the future there will be something similar" added the former Argentine tennis player.

"The match in Rio è was emotionally very strong and spectacular, as an Argentine in Brazil and against Rafa. Another match that I remember è was the semifinal of the 2009 Us Open, but there'n's one that I lost to Nadal, at Wimbledon 2018. It was an emotional match and when I see the images of that challenge and that moment, I don&#39t care that I lost, but it matters the hug, the emotion and the fans. It was an unforgettable day and these are the great memories I have with Rafa" Juan Martin Del Potro concluded.
