Marcelo Nicola è Scafati’s new coach
Givova Scafati made official on Sunday the arrival, on the Gialloblù bench, of Marcelo Nicola, a 1971-born coach with a past as a player of the highest level and several experiences on the bench in Europe, the last of which in Italy, in Treviso, from April 2022 to May 2023.
"I accepted to be part of this project that has immediately enticed me, becauseé the companyà wants to grow and be a protagonist – Nicola told the official channels of Givova Scafati -. I accept the challenge with grit and a lot of desire. Together we can do a good job and grow along the way".
"I thank the ownershipà of the club for placing their trust in me, which I will reciprocateò with hard work and the’hope to reap the results that we all expect. The team will have to have personality and grit, fundamental characteristics to do great things" added the Argentine coach.
Thusì instead, Alessandro Giuliani, general manager of the Campania company, expressed himself: "With Marcelo we immediately got in tune, agreeing both on ideas and projects. He will bring to Scafati his experience as a coach in the international field and his desire to fight, demonstrated in the 2021/2022 season (replacing coach Menetti) and in the 2022/2023 season, when he sat on the bench of Treviso".
