Juventus: McKennie packs his bags, Douglas Luiz in his place
Giuntoli working to make ends meet
Waiting to make official the arrival of Thiago Motta as the new coach and in the midst of negotiations to convince Rabiot to stay at Juventus, Giuntoli is reportedly working on an exchange with Aston Villa: McKennie to the English club in exchange for Douglas Luiz.
Transaction that the market man of the Old Lady would like to conclude without shelling out a euro, both at the level of the card and the salary.
Aston Villa values the Brazilian around 40 million euros, McKennie seems to be worth less (25/30) but Giuntoli è working to find a point of understanding, strong also in the fact that Douglas Luiz seems well willing to move to Italy, to Juventus.
After five years with the Aston Villa shirt, Douglas Luiz, currently in training with the Brazilian national team, seems indeed ready for a new adventure, in another league. He would take McKennie’s place, also on the salary level, with a salary of about three million euros per season.
In terms of technical and physical characteristics, he would be perfect for Thiago Motta’s game. He would be one of the two midfielders in the middle of the field and would provide that filter needed to balance the team. Giuntoli seems determined to find an agreement quickly, so as to focus on other equally urgent matters, such as the dream called Koopmeiners.
