Parla Heribert Mayr

Heribert Mayr, the very first tennis coach of Jannik Sinner, spoke about the South Tyrolean in an interview with Fanpage microphones: "Right now I am a tennis coach in Riscone, at the Brunico clubhouse, and I can say that I have coached Jannik Sinner among others. His return home? Yes, I was invited and è it was a great emotion".

"The last time I saw him è was in Paris two years ago but a lot has changed since then,” the coach added. “I congratulated him on winning the Australian Open and becoming number one in the world".

He then revealed a backstory: "I met him when he was 7-8 years old and immediately you could see that he had something more than the others. I coached him until he was 13, then he è left here. Everything è changed: at one point he was the Italian skiing champion, we were in the spring and he told me he had made a decision, I was hurt when he said, 'I quit skiing' his life was based on that, and fortunately è it went well".

"What could he figure out right away? The thing he had from an early age was the ability to read the opponent&#39s game, he had a great vision of the game and I didn&#39t have to explain anything to him, it all came naturally" Heribert Mayr&quoted.
