Milan: Zirkzee increasingly distant, other profiles evaluated
The Devil Tired of Waiting for Zirkzee
Milan è always looking for Giroud’s replacement. It seemed to have found him in Zirkzee but, complicit in the high commissions demanded by the Bologna striker's agent (15 million euros), negotiations have stalled and, at the moment, there do not seem to be any developments that could be positive from a Rossoneri perspective (Manchester United would be ready to meet the agent's demands).
A situation that seems to have unnerved the Rossoneri top brass quite a bit, to the point that other profiles would be considered for the role of striker in the next Fonseca-branded Milan. Specifically, there would be two hot names, namely those of Demirovic and Depay.
The former, a Bosnian striker on the strength of Augsburg, è back from a decidedly positive season in which he netted 15 goals, with also 10 assists to his name. Born in 1998, he has a cost definitely within the reach of AC Milan, considering that there is talk of a quotation for his card around 20/25 million euros.
There'è then the track leading to Depay. The Dutch striker, Inter's executioner in the last Champions League, will be released as of next July 1 (Atletico Madrid does not want to renew his contract). Several teams are on his trail but AC Milan, for allure and tradition, could have the upper hand, provided there is, on the part of the Diavolo, the will to make the decisive lunge. Milan is in a hurry to find its new striker.
