Pecco Bagnaia sets record in second free practice at Assen, Marc Marquez and Jorge Martin behind Aprilias
Pecco Bagnaia the fastest also in FP2 at Assen, good for Aprilia
Friday’s free practice of the Assen GP closes in the sign of Pecco Bagnaia. The Ducati centaur, in fact, after being the fastest in the first session he è repeated himself also in the second by setting a new track record of 1:31.340. Behind the reigning champion were Maverick Viñales and Alex Marquez, detached 65 and 320 thousandths, respectively.
In fourth place there'è the other Aprilia of Aleix Espargarò who was ahead of Jorge Martin and Marc Marquez, who have accumulated a delay of about half a second behind the blue centaur. Good performances also for Enea Bastianini and Franco Morbidelli, who managed to snatch direct access to Q2. Instead, the two VR46s of Bezzecchi and Di Giannantonio, the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo and the KTM of Pedro Acosta will start from Q1.
