Ferrari, Charles Leclerc remains optimistic despite bang in Hungary
Here are the words of Ferrari’s Monegasque Charles Leclerc, reported by formulapassion.it, after the bang in the second free practice session of the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring circuit.
“The feeling is improving a bit’ we had a more consistent day than the last three or four weekends, so this è positive. Unfortunately, because of a mistake, the mileage è has been reduced, but hopefully we can make up for it soon”.
“I wouldn’t get too carried away, but the feeling è good I think we are still a little bit’ behind the McLaren, which seems very strong this weekend. However, as I said, the feeling is good and that è always a good sign. Now we have to put it all together tomorrow, and I hope we can”.
“The day didn’t è end positively, although it è started out pretty well, we put new parts on the car that seem to do what we want, so that è always a positive. Unfortunately, I made a mistake in Turn 4 in FP2 and that reduced a bit’ activity’ in the session. We did fewer laps than we would have liked, but there’s still tomorrow and the feeling with the car è pretty good. I hope this will be reflected in the race“.
