Andrea Trinchieri isn’t just banking on Virtus Bologna and Olimpia Milano
Andrea Trinchieri takes a stab at LBA 2024-2025
During an interview given to the microphones of the "Il Messaggero Veneto", Zalgris Kaunas head coach Andrea Trinchieri, among other topics discussed, dwelt on the upcoming LBA championship, pointing out the favorites and possible outsiders.
"It's likely that again this year the A series will be a two-way talk between Virtus Bologna and Olimpia Milano, forò I also see Venezia well. Trapani, Sassari and Tortona have built a very strong roster and could provide surprises. Underneath they have all reinforced, on paper it will be one of the most competitive and balanced championships ever" began the head coach of Zalgris Kaunas.
"The main goal è to build a roster that plays well together. Last year we came up short. We want to try to be competitive, which means winning the league and doing our best in the Euroleague, placing in the top ten" added the Milan native about his Zalgris Kaunas’ goals.
"L'Euroleague è a monstrous competition. Every year there are stronger teams and we will only run the race on ourselves. I prefer not to look at other rosters and focus exclusively on my own. I’ll tryò to come up with something new in the hope of getting good results" commented Andrea Trinchieri.
