UEFA has announced a reduction in the maximum price of tickets that home clubs can charge visiting fans in the three men's club competitions, a decision that reaffirms UEFA's commitment to making European soccer more accessible and affordable for all. The resolution, which was approved by the UEFA Club Competitions Committee, highlights the crucial role of fans in creating the exciting atmosphere that characterizes the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League and recognizes their passionate support during away matches. By making away matches more accessible, UEFA aims to preserve this unique aspect of European soccer culture.

Starting with the 2024/25 season, the maximum price of tickets for visiting fans will be €60 in the UEFA Champions League, €40 in the UEFA Europa League, and €20 in the UEFA Conference League. Prices will be further reduced in the 2025/26 season to a maximum of 50 euros in UEFA Champions League, 35 euros in UEFA Europa League and again 20 euros in UEFA Conference League.

The decision comes after extensive consultation with the European Club Association (ECA) and Football Supporters Europe (FSE) and is part of a broader collective work to improve the fan experience in European competitions, reflecting the joint commitment between UEFA and stakeholders to put fans first.

UEFA President, Aleksander Čeferin commented as follows: "The lowering of the maximum ticket price for visiting fans in the new UEFA men's club competitions is an important signal from all ECA member clubs that they want to actively contribute to improving the overall fan experience. Collaboration between the ECA, UEFA and fan representatives through the FSE è is essential to ensure that traveling supporters can follow their team as closely as possible throughout Europe".
