Lewis Ferguson renews with Bologna: his father's announcement
Lewis Ferguson will remain at Bologna until 2029. Announcing the red-blù midfielder's contract renewal was his father, Derek, host of the podcast 'Let Me Be Frank' run by former Scottish footballer'Frank McAvennie: "Bologna has just renewed his contract. He will stay until 2029".
So he updated on recovery from injury: "I saw some footage of his training and it surprised me. It has been five and a half months since the injury. He is really making great strides. Lewis not only è ruptured his ACL, he also had a medial collateral ligament injury. Usually these injuries take somewhere between nine and 12 months for a full recovery".
"When I saw those pictures from training I was amazed, I wondered if it was possible for him to be moving already soì at this point. But there'è to say that compared to my time è everything has changed. I don’t want to exaggerate with enthusiasm, but inside I am overjoyed. Rehabilitation is going very well" concluded Derek Ferguson.
