A goodbye that has è never been a realistic option.

Max Verstappen è confirmed himself as Formula 1 world champion again in the 2024 championship, which was characterized, however, by not always relaxed relations with part of the Red Bull team. In particular after the Hungaroring the tension seemed such that the scenario of his farewell was no longer unthinkable. Such a hypothesis, però according to Christian Horner has è never really been on the agenda.

"Max has a very frank relationship with the rest of the team,‖ Horner explained to the official Goodwood Festival channels, -That is why there is always open discussion between the various parties. This è is the right way to collaborate. He then è been very clear about his position in Red Bull, but when discussions become sensitive then they take place behind closed doors".

Horner è then dwelt on the various rumors about Verstappen’s account, which in recent months è has been associated with Aston Martin and Mercedes. "All normal, everyone will always be interested in him. We are talking about an exceptional talent, clear that he is on the top of the wish list of any Formula 1 team", said the Red Bull team principal.

It is precisely the dense chatter about Verstappen, finally, that he believes represents the final clue as to whether they were unfounded. "If you talk about something in such a public way, the situation becomes less credible. The biggest operations happen behind the scenes, not through the media", Horner added.
