Ligue 1 2025-2026: Marseille-Metz, the probable formations

In the end, Paris Saint-Germain came out on top. Ligue 1 decided to grant the postponement of the big match against Lens, after a request made by the Parisian club because of its Champions League double commitment against Liverpool.
Lens had strongly opposed it, including through an official statement, but the league still gave Luis Enrique’s team the go-ahead, setting the match’s rescheduling to May 13.
There are therefore only nine matches to be played over the Ligue 1 weekend: it begins on Friday with Paris FC-Monaco at 7 p.m. and Marseille-Metz at 9:05 p.m. Scheduled for Saturday are Auxerre-Nantes at 7 p.m. and Rennes-Angers at 9:05 p.m. Nice-Le Havre and Toulouse-Lille at 5:15 p.m. are played on Sunday, while closing out the round is Lyon-Lorient at 8:45 p.m.
