New accident for the 26-year-old Canadian, who collided with Stroll in Q1 of qualifying in Melbourne.

Here we go again. Nicholas Latifi, who made headlines for the sensational incident that actually – due to the subsequent entry of the Safety Car on the track – handed the race and Drivers’ World Championship victory to Max Verstappen in Abu Dhabi, has made another one.

Two minutes into Q1, Latifi let Stroll through and then darted inside to get back in front. The Aston Martin driver, who was not expecting this maneuver, leaned to the right and thus collided with his compatriot. Although the debate is open as to who is most responsible for the accident, on social media the stance is clear: irony and sarcasm reign against the Williams driver, who evidently many still do not forgive the imprudence in Abu Dhabi.

“I understand that this year Latifi does not care about bringing the car intact to the pits,” “Latifi but enough. This is overkill,” “Latifi at the wall is the only certainty”: this is the tone of the posts that are invading Twitter under the hashtag #Latifi.
