The Serie B play-offs open at the Stadio Alberto Braglia at 6:45 p.m. with the challenge between Modena and Juve Stabia, valid for the first quarterfinal. The Canarini, sixth at the end of the regular season with 49 points, are banking on the field factor to redeem the misstep against Avellino and detach the pass for the next round. On the other side, Juve Stabia arrives in Emilia with the goal of overturning the odds after finishing seventh. Abate’s men, fresh from the draw against Sudtirol, will rely on the solidity of Dalle Mura and the direction of Leone to unhinge the home defense. The challenge promises to be a very balanced one, but with an important regulatory advantage, in case of a draw at the end of the 90 minutes, Modena will be the one to pass the round given the better placement in the standings.

Sottil lines up his men with a solid 3-5-2, entrusting the keys of the attack to the De Luca-Ambrosino pair. In the midfield, Zanimacchia and Zampano will act on the flanks, while the Massolin-Santoro-Pyyyhtia trio will manage the midfield in front of the defense led by Nador.

Abate responds with a very compact form. Boer between the posts will be protected by the trio Bellich-Giorgini-Dalle Mura, while in midfield Leone will dictate the rhythms. On the three-quarter will act the imagination of Maistro in support of the only Gabrielloni point.
