Milan Transfer Market: Fofana is also leaving

Milan has yet to decide on the key figures for its next management team, but rumors about the squad and a major overhaul of the Rossoneri roster continue to swirl. As is well known, Rafael Leao’s departure is all but certain, as he has reiterated his desire to leave three times in the past week.
According to milannews.it, Youssouf Fofana is also set to leave. Having arrived in 2024 from Monaco for €26 million, the French midfielder has rarely managed to impress in Milan but is one of the players with the most admirers abroad. Several European and Arab clubs are reportedly interested in the former Monaco player. Fofana could have left in January following an offer from Fenerbahçe, but he decided to stay at Milanello until the end of the year. Now everything has changed, and he too is on his way out.
According to rumors, the other players set to leave are Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mike Maignan, Luka Modric, Pervis Estupinan, and Adrien Rabiot, who, following Allegri’s departure, seems determined to leave Milan.
On the coaching front, the hottest name remains Oliver Glasner, the Austrian manager who led Crystal Palace to FA Cup, Community Shield, and Conference League titles. His attacking, high-pressing style represents a radically different philosophy from Allegri’s. In recent hours, however, Ruben Amorim has also emerged as a candidate; he has been without a team since being sacked by Manchester United at the start of the year.
