Fiorentina Transfer Market: Paratici’s Comments Spark Rumors About Moise Kean—Two New Scenarios

The comments by Fabio Paratici, Fiorentina’s sporting director, have reignited speculation about Moise Kean’s future. Speaking about the Italian national team forward during Thursday’s press conference at Viola Park, the Viola’s sporting director took a cautious approach, leaving the door open to a potential transfer.
“During this transfer window, we’re in constant contact with players and agents,” said Paratici. “Kean is an asset to Fiorentina just as he is to Italian soccer, and everyone knows how fond I am of him. The transfer market, however, operates on different logic: we hope and want him to remain our center forward, but only five or six clubs in the world can afford not to retain their players in the face of significant offers.”
While reiterating his desire to keep the striker, Paratici’s words have inevitably fueled speculation about a possible departure, and in the last few hours, two potential destinations have resurfaced. The first leads to Saudi Arabia and Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal, which had already tested the waters back in January and could make another move, backed by financial resources that fit the very profile of “substantial offers” mentioned by Paratici.
The second possibility, however, involves the Premier League. Newcastle, coming off a disappointing season, is looking for a top-tier attacking reinforcement and considers Kean a suitable fit to revitalize its offense. According to reports from ‘Sport Mediaset,’ the Magpies are ready to prepare an offer, believing the forward has matured since his first stint in England with Everton between 2019 and 2020, followed by a brief return from his loan to PSG in the summer of 2021 before his permanent return to Italy—first to Juventus and then to Fiorentina.
Fiorentina, for its part, continues to view Kean as its key offensive player, but the sporting director’s comments have made it clear that all options remain on the table. And with the transfer window just opening, the coming weeks could be decisive in determining whether the center forward, born in Vercelli in 2000, will stay in Florence or consider a new adventure.
