Real Villasanta-Lele Forever: The Presidents Are Proud of This Noble and Heartwarming Gesture

Sersi Marco Palazzi, president of Real Villasanta, and Roberto Brandazzi, his counterpart at the Lele Forever association, commented on the touching and beautiful events that took place after the “Notti Magiche” tournament in Ronco Briantino.
A fair number of tireless green-and-white players—led for the occasion by the Saini-Longhi duo and sponsored by Bar Cavour—participated in the prestigious event, finishing in third place. As it turned out, the steadfast Andrea Verderio proposed to the other players and the coaching staff that they donate the 500 euros they had won to Lele Forever. Everyone, without exception, enthusiastically agreed, and so the money was donated to the association that has been fighting leukemia for a quarter of a century and is named after Gabriele Brandazzi, a young man from Villasanta who passed away in 1999 at the age of just 27 after battling the disease with great courage.
“I’ve learned of the generous gesture by our friends at Real Villasanta, which seals a long-standing partnership. Thank you for this contribution that comes from the heart,” wrote Lele Forever president Roberto Brandazzi, Lele’s father, speaking also on behalf of his wife Patrizia and the entire wonderful organization whose symbolic color is yellow.
Great joy was also evident in the words of Real Villasanta’s number one, Sersi Marco Palazzi, a gruff man with a good heart. “I knew I had a fantastic group, and now I’m certain of it,” he said. “Thank you, guys.”
Meanwhile, Real’s new season is approaching: in recent days, rumors of a preseason training camp in Amsterdam have been circulating quite persistently around town. So far, there has been no confirmation from the club’s front office—nor has there been a definitive denial.
