Juventus Transfer Market: An Unexpected Player from Spalletti’s Roster Is at Risk of Being Traded

Time is running out, and Juventus is still in uncharted waters when it comes to player transfers. While Kolo Muani, Lucumí, Vicario, Alajbegovic, Celik, and Ekhator have joined the team, the Bianconeri have so far managed to offload only three players—Openda, Adzic, and Joao Mario—all on loan.
Luciano Spalletti’s roster is not yet complete; the team needs at least one fullback, one forward, and one midfielder, but any new signings will depend entirely on the club’s ability to offload the surplus players it has yet to place. The Turin club’s management aims to finalize at least four or five outbound transfers by September to ensure financial sustainability, but is currently struggling to make sales.
Jonathan David is in demand from several clubs, but the player’s salary is a stumbling block that has so far blocked any concrete offers for him. Nico Gonzalez is also on the market: Juventus wants to sell him only on a permanent basis, for no less than 30 million euros. The same goes for Teun Koopmeiners, Michele Di Gregorio, and Daniele Rugani—all players set to leave who, at least for now, have limited market value.
Surprisingly, Francisco Conceição—a prized asset on the Bianconeri roster—could be the one to kickstart the transfer market: according to rumors, if the right offer comes along, Juventus won’t stand in the way of his departure. Several Premier League giants, including Liverpool, are showing interest in the player: for a fee of 40 million euros, Juventus might say yes.
A transfer of Kenan Yildiz, on the other hand, has been categorically ruled out. English champions Arsenal are said to have expressed concrete interest in the Turkish talent, with Arteta ready to make an offer in the coming days. Juventus, however, has already made it clear that not even 100 million euros would be enough for the Turkish player: the player is considered a cornerstone of Spalletti’s project, and his potential departure—in addition to representing a massive technical loss—would force the club to make another complicated move in the transfer market in the very final days of the summer window.
