The partnership between Max Verstappen and Red Bull continues: the Austrian team has triumphantly announced the contract extension for the four-time world champion, who has been with the Milton Keynes-based team since his Formula 1 debut. In recent months, the Dutch driver had been linked to several teams, including Mercedes, and many were already dreaming of a future star duo with Andrea Kimi Antonelli. That won’t happen; the partnership between Verstappen and Red Bull will continue through 2030: “I’m really happy—we have the best people, and I’m excited to keep working with everyone to get back to the top,” Verstappen said in a statement.

“I want to thank Red Bull, Laurent, and everyone at Oracle Red Bull Racing for the trust they’ve placed in me. I’ve always said it: the team is like a second family to me, and I really feel at home here. I joined the team hoping to win races. What we’ve achieved together since then has been simply wonderful—we’ve shared so many incredible moments and won four World Championships.”

“Continuing on this journey with the same team I’ve spent my entire career with is truly special and something I’ve always wanted to do. Working with Laurent for over a year has been fantastic; I can see the clear vision he has for the team. Everyone in Milton Keynes believes in what we’re building, and I can’t wait to tackle the next chapter—fighting for more victories and competing for championships while continuing to shape the future of this team.”

Max Verstappen has won four world championships with Red Bull, securing 71 Formula 1 victories. “Oracle Red Bull Racing is immensely proud to confirm that Max Verstappen will remain with the team through the end of the 2030 Formula 1 season, extending one of the most successful and meaningful partnerships in F1 history,” the Austrian team announced.
