Juve Stabia Transfer Market: Deal Done for Di Nardo. Pescara Sets Sights on Paris

Juve Stabia is stepping up its efforts to sign Antonio Di Nardo and is close to finalizing the deal. The Campania-based club has essentially reached an agreement with Pescara for the transfer of the 27-year-old forward, who was a standout last season with 14 goals. An impressive tally that, however, was not enough to prevent the Delfino from being relegated.

The deal between the two clubs is expected to be around 1.5 million euros plus bonuses. The agreement with Di Nardo still needs to be finalized; Juve Stabia is reported to have offered him a three-year contract with a salary roughly double what he earned at Pescara. Once a compromise is reached with the player, the deal can be finalized.

Di Nardo’s departure would allow Pescara to focus on finding his replacement. The name at the top of the Biancazzurri management’s list is Giacomo Parigi, a striker from Latina identified as a potential new leader of the offense.

Ravenna has also made a move for the player and is reported to have already submitted an offer to Latina. Parigi and his entourage, however, seem to prefer a move to Abruzzo. This factor could give Pescara an edge in the race for the striker, especially given his relationship with Antonio Buscè: the Biancazzurri coach already knows Parigi from having coached him in the past.
