Jannik Sinner in Turin for Juventus vs. Milan; a surprise gift also makes an appearance

From Formula 1 to soccer—he’s always been a huge sports fan. After spending the afternoon in Monza for the Italian Grand Prix, Jannik Sinner arrived at Allianz Stadium to watch the big match between Juventus and Milan, part of the third round of Serie A, with kickoff at 8:45 p.m.

Italy’s top-ranked tennis player, a well-known AC Milan fan, watched from the sidelines as the teams coached by Luciano Spalletti and Ruben Amorim warmed up. Before kickoff, the Italian tennis star had a long conversation with Gerry Cardinale, who was in Turin to follow the team up close.

The Milan owner then presented Sinner with a special gift: a Rossoneri jersey personalized with the South Tyrolean champion’s name and the number 1.

It was a day dedicated to sports for Sinner, who just a few hours earlier had also been in the spotlight in Monza, where he attended the Formula 1 Grand Prix and met Kimi Antonelli. A friendship developed between the two, and after the Italian driver’s victory, Sinner dedicated a social media post to him: “Congratulations, Kimi, you’re great!”
