Cagliari is smiling again after snapping a four-game losing streak. On Matchday 11 of the league season, the Rossoblù defeated Frosinone 1-0 thanks to a goal by Adopo, earning three valuable points in front of their home crowd. The victory was built on a solid performance and defense, thanks in part to decisive saves by Caprile, who was particularly prominent in the second half.

Meanwhile, the other match between Torino and Lecce ended in a draw. At the Olimpico Grande Torino, where kickoff was delayed by about 15 minutes due to a goal-line technology issue, Simeone put the Granata ahead, but N’Dri equalized shortly after coming on as a substitute. In the closing minutes, Adams even hit the post with a bicycle kick: Abate and Di Francesco shared the points.

After a stronger start by Frosinone—who looked dangerous through Calò and Kvernadze—Cagliari gradually gained the upper hand and found their confidence thanks to the play of Yael Trepy, who was, however, forced to leave the field before the half-hour mark due to injury. The home team managed to break the deadlock in the 38th minute, when Adopo scored his first goal of the season: the midfielder exchanged passes with Mendy and, from the edge of the box, unleashed a powerful shot that found the top corner.

In the second half, the Rossoblù nearly doubled their lead with a backheel by Mendy, but Palmisani was ready for it. Caprile, however, also had to step up: in the 59th minute, he stopped a close-range shot by Calò, and in the 74th minute, he made two crucial saves, first on a shot by Cicchella and then on Bîrligea’s close-range follow-up. The final big chance fell to Cagliari once again, but Ciervo failed to set up Kevin Carlos in the box for a potential 2-0 lead. The match at Unipol Domus ends 1-0: Pisacane celebrates again after four matchdays without a win, while Frosinone sees its winning streak snapped after two consecutive victories.

Torino and Lecce played to a draw at the end of a match also marked by an unusual issue before kickoff. The game began about 15 minutes late due to a malfunction with the goal line and goal-line technology, which was fixed by stadium staff.

The first half offered few thrills. It was mainly the visitors who came close to taking the lead, capitalizing on a mistake by Kulenovic following a corner kick; however, Perri reacted quickly and punched the ball away. Torino tried to respond through Cacciamani and Kulenovic himself, but failed to find the necessary accuracy. The match picked up in the second half. Around the 60th minute, the Granata broke the deadlock with Simeone, who received the ball and shot from the left inside the penalty area. Gaspar’s deflection proved decisive and beat Falcone.

Lecce responds and ties the game in the 78th minute with N’Dri, who had entered the game just three minutes earlier. Once again, a deflection—this time by Bragança—proves decisive, wrong-footing Perri and allowing the Salentini to level the score. In the closing minutes, Torino tried to regain the lead and came very close to scoring in the 87th minute through Ché Adams, whose bicycle kick hit the post. It was the last major chance of the match: at the final whistle, the score was 1-1, with the Granata and the Giallorossi each earning a point.
