F1: Norbert Haug also crushes Ferrari

Former Mercedes executive: “I can’t imagine her winning next year.”

The change of team principal at Ferrari has not convinced former Mercedes executive Norbert Haug, who said in an interview with Rnd that he does not see the Maranello-based team as a contender for the title in 2023, even after the arrival of Frederic Vasseur to replace Mattia Binotto.

“Ferrari did not have a disastrous year,” is Haug’s premise. “It finished second, both among the drivers with Charles Leclerc and among the teams, but Red Bull would never be beaten by Ferrari.

“Even without making mistakes, such as the strange strategic decisions and some stops, it could not have achieved a better result in both rankings,” Haug was certain. “Even for 2023, I do not imagine a winning Ferrari at all.
