Leonardo Bonucci, prosecutor blows everyone away on his future
“Leonardo Bonucci wants to stay at Juventus,” his prosecutor sentences.
Alessandro Lucci, Leonardo Bonucci’s prosecutor, urges not to take his client’s farewell to Juventus for granted, despite the fact that he is no longer its captain and, in fact, is not part of the Bianconeri club’s technical project, as communicated to him directly by the club’s new sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli.
Interviewed by Ansa, Lucci was categorical: “I’m hearing a lot of market rumors about Bonucci, but his main desire is to remain at Juve of which he was captain until a few months ago, to carve out his role within such an important group. He is a world-class footballer, an Azzurri captain and a leader of a team like Juve.”
However, it is Lucci himself who does not rule out a farewell: “Should market situations materialize,” he said, “we would only consider opportunities at the height of his level to find the best solution for everyone.
Bonucci, born in 1987, has been approached in recent days by several Serie A clubs, such as Fiorentina, Lazio, Bologna, Monza and newly promoted Cagliari and Frosinone. Three clubs now in Serie B have also reportedly sounded the ground: specifically, Sampdoria, Bari (a club Bonucci played for in the 2009/10 season) and Palermo.
