Olimpia Milano, Ettore Messina already looks to the future

After winning his third consecutive Scudetto at the helm of the EA7 Emporio Armani Milano, for Ettore Messina è already time to look to the season to come. During an interview to the microphones of "SportMediaset", in fact, the head coach of the meneghini spoke clearly in merits to the upcoming goals of the club.

"In the last two years we have struggled a lot, partly because of crucial absences that have affected our path. We have to understand whether è it is a matter of technique, athleticism, depth of the roster, experience. We will probably have to intervene in all of these areas, we will try to do so compatibly with the logic of the market. We can never set ourselves up to compete with clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, the Turks, Panathinaikos. Our goal must be to make the Euroleague playoffs with a continuity of performance that has been lacking in the last two years,'Olimpia Milano head coach began.

"In the playoffs we have always had a very important support. I don&#39t want to forget that this year we had great numbers, with a record 10 thousand people per game both in the league and in Europe. For the future we will try to improve even more, hoping to have the fans by our side in high-level games throughout the Euroleague season" continued the'former coach of Italbasket.

"Hall, Tonut and Melli have known for a long time that it is the will of societyè to retain them. We want to try to do everything, consistent with budget issues, to keep them here and to make them happy" added the'former Real Madrid coach.

In conclusion, Ettore Messina reflected on his future: "We have not addressed this issue. In the winter we went through complex moments, we faced them together with Mr. Armani and Mr. Dell'Orco with a demonstration of trust from them in me that was very important for me and I think also for the rest of the club. We will try to put together the best possible team for next season".
