Andrey Rublev extols a precise quality of Jannik Sinner
Jannik Sinner number one in tennis: Andrey Rublev’s thoughts
Jannik Sinner è the No. 1 in world tennis, having conquered the top of the ATP rankings on the sidelines of Roland Garros by overtaking such a sacred monster as Novak Djokovic. An unprecedented feat for an Italian tennis player, but one that did not surprise either insiders or the formidable South Tyrolean’s own colleagues. And among the latter stands out Andrey Rublev, who identified what è was the main qualitative leap made by his rival.
"In the past occasionally his attention could drop a little bit'. Now regardless of the score or the opponent his level remains practically the same" began the Russian tennis player at the microphones of "ATP Media".
"Maybe he will miss one match every three months, but maintaining such a level for almost a year and a half without making mistakes as he did è really difficult for anyone" added Andrey Rublev.
Jannik Sinner è is currently engaged in the Halle ATP 500, where on Tuesday, June 18, he won his debut match against Tallon Griekspoor of the Netherlands by a score of 6-7 6-3 6-2. In the round of 16, the world number one will face Fabian Marozsan.
