Liguria rewards its champions

Over one hundred and thirty thousand votes in two months. A real marathon with once again extraordinary participation of the Ligurian public for the election of Stars in Sport 2025. Gold medals were awarded to Andrea Pinamonti (Genoa), Filippo Armaleo (SSD Pompilio/Fiamme Azzurre), Chiara Rebagliati (Arcieri Torre Vecchia/Fiamme Oro), Filippo Repetto (CUS Genova Rugby), Rachele Paris (Marassi Judo), Caterina Gransasso (Semplicemente Danza) and PGS Auxilium Genova. But all the 2025 podiums are truly extraordinary. As many as nineteen sports disciplines represented with many stars of the Olympics and Paralympics in Paris and talents that will leave their mark on Ligurian and national sports in the coming years.

On the podium is volleyball player Lorenzo Fazio of Colombo (2320 votes) and, tied for third at 1895 votes, European champion sailor Edoardo Bastini (Club Nautico San Bart) and horsewoman Carola Pedemonte (Horse Club Rapallo).

The top-rated club, in the 1934 Novelli Trophy, is PGS Auxilium Genova (2746 votes). The club of President Angelo Serra will be awarded along with Rapallo Nuoto (2049 votes) and Ginnastica Riviera dei Fiori (1632).

Swimmers and athletes chosen by the public will be honored on Thursday, May 15 at the 26th Gala of Stars starting at 8:30 p.m. at the Grecale Hall of the Magazzini del Cotone in Genoa’s Old Port.
