Igor Tudor wants a Juventus 'at full throttle'

Igor Tudor presented the match against Wydad in a press conference: “It will be a different opponent, we play at a different time. We have prepared it to the maximum, as always. It will be an important match against a quality team and we will have to give our best, going full throttle for ninety minutes”.
“The heat? There will be preparation to deal with it, but it will be there for both teams and then it will be forgotten, to focus on what we have to do – added the Juventus coach. “Wydad against City in the first half could score two goals, every game is its own game. It is impossible to make comparisons between one match and another, each match has its own particularity”.
“I do not see fatigue in the team, I only see enthusiasm and great pleasure in playing together– the Bianconeri coach then stressed -. The match against Al-Ain they approached it the way I like it, also thanks to the work we are doing. I am happy, with the team I got on well from the first day and I feel a good energy around us, also in the club. I hope we can do great things together, because the story of this club is to do great things”.
“John Elkann close to us? He is a constant, beautiful and important presence. If I may say so, he also makes his presence felt with the right ways and the right words. I really liked how he spoke to the players in Turin. There is great energy from him, and the players felt it and took it as additional motivation. After the game he was happy with the performance and energy seen on the field”.
“Qualifying early would be nice, of course, but you cannot plan anything. You have to think game by game. Surprises in the tournament? Certainly there are, we have to try not to be a surprise in a negative way, and avoiding that is my and the players’ job. More optimistic than when we started? Too soon, we only had one competition. I don’t look at these things, I don’t think about the finish line, I think about what we have to do training after training. We have to live in the present, from the past we learn and we build the future today” Tudor concluded.
