Six young reinforcements for Benetton Treviso

Archived the 2024-2025 season with the URC playoffs escaped right at the last breath, Benetton Treviso prepares the next sporting year by focusing strongly on youth: on Thursday, the green-and-white club announced six new recruits, born between 2002 and 2005, all coming from Mogliano Rugby, a Serie A Elite club that works closely with the Treviso franchise.
The six players are Destiny Aminu, a left pylon born Oct. 19, 2003; Giuliano Avaca, an opening halfback born March 25, 2003; Marcos Gallorini, a right pylon born Oct. 11, 2004; Nicholas Gasperini, a hooker born Jan. 9, 2004; Giulio Marini, a second line player born Jan. 23, 2002; and Federico Zanandrea, a center born right in Treviso on Jan. 30, 2005.
“These are six players who have shown their full value in the past seasons with the Mogliano jersey – confirmed Antonio Pavanello, general manager of Benetton Rugby. “Their arrival represents the right recognition for what they have done so far and reflects our desire to fully integrate them into the group, strengthening the necessary roles within our roster”.
We thank Mogliano Veneto Rugby for the fruitful collaboration: these boys have been on a path of growth for a few years now, and the time has come for their sporting maturation. Mogliano has done an excellent job that has led to a remarkable leap in quality and the well-deserved landing of these athletes in the first team. Now it is up to each of them to continue to work and prove their worth”.
“In addition, in line with our intention to offer these young athletes as many opportunities to play, we can anticipate that, should they not find sufficient space during the season, in agreement with the Zebras there could be provision for their temporary transfer to Parma in the role of permit players. In this way they will be able to continue to gain experience at a high level, thus ensuring continuity to their growth path” concluded Pavanello.
