Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia wants to understand what happened
“In the next race the possibility of wet weather is high,” Bagnaia said.
Francesco Bagnaia is ready to return to the track, to be among the protagonists in Thailand, after his crash in the last lap of the Japanese Grand Prix in Motegi, with the aim of reducing the gap with the leader of the riders’ standings Fabio Quartararo, currently 18 points away.
“Right now I can’t afford it, I’ve already crashed five times this year. So I have to think about it,” the Italian centaur told BT Sport.
“We have to understand why I was so slow in the wet, because in the next race the possibility of wet weather is high,” added the Ducati rider.
Returning to the Motegi GP, the Borgo Panigale factory rider concluded, “The only positive thing is that Aleix Espargaró had a problem and Fabio was not so competitive, so I did not lose too many points.”
MotoGP is the top category in circuit racing motorcycle championships. This category came into existence in 2002, replacing the 500 class, following a change in the displacement regulations. Currently, 24 riders take part in the MotoGp championship, with two riders per team.
