Tour de France 2025, ranking leader changes after stage 5

Thanks to his second place in the fifth stage of the Tour de France 2025, the first 33-kilometer-long time trial starting and finishing in Caen, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) is the new leader of the general classification.
The Slovenian star in fact snatched the yellow jersey from Frenchman Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin Deceuninck), who dropped as low as sixth place, and already has a 42-second lead over Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step) and 59 over Kevin Vauquelin (Arkéa-B&B Hotels).
