Here are the words that Pecco Bagnaia wrote on his private Instagram group after his seventh place in the Sprint of the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic at the Brno circuit won, for a change, by his teammate Marc Marquez.

“Today I feel quite satisfied apart from the final result of the Sprint. It was good and very important for all of us to make the pole position, which was missing for a long time.”

“During the Sprint, I was comfortable riding, I was managing the situation, I was able to stay with Marc and I had an advantage over the riders behind.”

“Already at the starting grid, we had a small electronic problem, and during the race, notifications appeared suggesting to take a specific action, but in fact the front tire pressure was correct and I should not have given up positions.”

“The team is analyzing the data to understand what actually happened. It’s a shame because we were doing well and I was able to be more incisive, especially on the braking.”
