When does Jannik Sinner play in Cincinnati: background with Felix Auger-Aliassime

Jannik Sinner is ready to make a comeback at the 2025 Cincinnati Masters 1000, where he defends the title he won a year ago. World No. 1 and the top seed, the South Tyrolean will take the court Thursday night no earlier than 9 p.m. at the Lindner Family Tennis Centre.
His opponent in the quarterfinals will be Félix Auger-Aliassime, current No. 23 in the rankings, one of the few players able to boast a perfect record against him. In the three previous official matches, in fact, the Canadian has always prevailed. Their last intersection in Cincinnati, in 2022, is still well etched in memory: Sinner started strong, winning the first set 6-2, but succumbed at the distance 6-7(1), 1-6.
Since then, however, the script has changed. Sinner has made great strides to become Slam champion and ranking leader, while Auger-Aliassime remains an unpredictable opponent, capable of alternating between moments of brilliance and sudden declines.
On American concrete, both can express the best of their tennis: Sinner with his surgical precision and ability to vary solutions, the Canadian with his explosive serve and penetrating forehand.
