Adrien Rabiot at AC Milan, Roberto De Zerbi falls from the clouds

“I do not know what to answer, I have not talked about the market with Longoria and Benatia”. With this laconic but not casual sentence, Roberto De Zerbi put a stop to rumors of his direct involvement in market movements at Marseille and in particular those related to the possible sale of Adrien Rabiot to AC Milan.

Accordingly, Milan, still looking for solidity and experience in the midfield, has reconnected in the last few hours, also complicit in the stalemate on other fronts. The idea is clear: to put at Massimiliano Allegri’s disposal a player capable of bringing muscle, geometry and leadership.

The knot remains the salary: the former Juventus man would ask for a high figure, not out of reach but above the parameters. At Milan, the Rabiot option is divisive. There are those who see him as the perfect graft, those who consider him too slow and with a character that is not always easy to handle.
