.

A unique opportunity to meet people who have written important pages of world motorsport and who have always been linked to the Minardi world, never failing to make their presence at Historic Minardi Day. Among them: Engineers Aldo Costa, Gabriele Tredozi and Nigel Cowperthwaite, Alessandro Nannini, Arturo Merzario, Pierluigi Martini, Riccardo Patrese, Philippe Alliot, Thierry Boutsen, Carlo Facetti, Bruno Giacomelli, Miguel Angel Guerra, Roberto Moreno, Luis Perez Sala, Luca Badoer accompanied by his son Brando, Leonardo Fornaroli – fresh winner at Monza and current F2 World Championship leader – Beppe Gabbiani, Siegfried Stohr, Giovanni Lavaggi, Sergio Campana, Niccolò Piancastelli, Massimo Ciccozzi, Raffaele Giammaria, Roberto Farneti, Vinicio Salmi, Ruggero Melgrati, Giordano Regazzoni, Alister Yoong and Luciano Crespi.

Curiosity. There were several former drivers who chose to return to don a suit and helmet on Historic Minardi Day. In 2017, for example, Emanuele Pirro got behind the wheel of the Minardi M189 for the first time; Gaston Mazzacane drove “his” Minardi M02, while Gian Carlo Minardi tried his hand at the M192-Lamborghini. In the 2018 edition, the then technical director of Mercedes AMG F1, Aldo Costa, had brought the Mercedes W04 to the track. In 2020, it was Riccardo Patrese’s turn to warm the hearts of fans with the 1991 Williams FW14.

More recently, in 2023 and 2024, Thierry Boutsen thrilled the public by taking to the track in the #2 ex-Gilles Villeneuve Ferrari 312 T5 and Alain Prost’s #1 McLaren MP4/03. Engineer Gabriele Tredozi took center stage aboard the Minardi PS04B; Aldo Costa stepped into the cockpit of the Dallara Stradale EXP, as did world rally champion Miki Biasion. Gianni Morbidelli performed at the wheel of Pierluigi Martini’s Minardi M189; Miguel Angel Guerra drove the March 761 ex-Vittorio Brambilla alternating with Roberto Farneti, in addition to signing his personal debut at the wheel of a Minardi single-seater, the M189. Arturo Merzario stepped into the cockpit of the Lucchini Alfa Romeo (Scuderia del Portello). Bruno Giacomelli, on the other hand, brought the F2 March 772 powered by BMW back to the track.

Finally, the presence of Pierluigi Martini was unmissable, accompanied by his Minardi M189, the perfectly restored Tyrrell P34/02 and P34/05, the Ralt RT30 Ford-Cosworth and the 1986 Ferrari 126 C4 ex-Michele Alboreto.
