Milan-Lecce: Francesco Camarda returns to San Siro with a big dream

This evening, at 9 p.m. at the San Siro, the Milan-Lecce Coppa Italia challenge is staged. The Rossoneri fans in attendance will be watching with great attention (and sympathy) Francesco Camarda. L’striker class of 2008 returns to his home, to San Siro, as an opponent with a big dream in his drawer.

During the summer, he decided, with enormous effort, to put himself on the line in Lecce in order to have more space and thus be able to grow to the point that he returned to the Diavolo ready to make a difference. His first weeks with the Giallorossi were not positive. His minutes were drastically reduced (83′ on the field in the first day, only 17′ in the recent challenge with Cagliari).

Most importantly, that blessed first goal that Francesco Camarda has been chasing for a very long time has not yet arrived. In fact, a goal l’had even scored when he played at Milan: in the Champions League, at San Siro, against Bruges. An immense joy, thwarted by VAR for offside.

Now he is ready to step back into what was and, in his heart, he hopes will become his stadium again. Today he will, barring any surprises, have a starting jersey and will try, in every way, to try to score a goal for his beloved Milan. At 17, he is still very young but, in Serie A, chances are not endless and Francesco Camarda knows this well.
