Jannik Sinner joins Carlos Alcaraz in final at Six Kings Slam: Djokovic knocked out in two sets

It will be Jannik Sinner-Carlos Alcaraz again in the final of the Six Kings Slam. After a clear victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas, the world number two also beats Novak Djokovic, number 5 in the ATP rankings, with a final score of 6-4 6-2 after just over an hour of play.

The Blue started off strong finding the break at the first useful opportunity in the third game (2-1). On serve Jannik doesn&#8217t give Nole a chance: a first serve percentage over 80 percent and a beauty of 9 aces help the South Tyrolean to close out the first set (6-4).

The second set opened with a break by Sinner that confirmed it at zero (2-0). The South Tyrolean continued to maintain an impressive pace on serve and in the fifth game he repeated the break advantage (4-1) before filing the case.

Sinner thus flies to the final of the Six Kings Slam where he will face Carlos Alcaraz, who eliminated Taylor Fritz in the semifinals (6-4 6-2). The showdown between the world’s top two players is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18, at 8 p.m. at the earliest, following the final for third and fourth place, set for 6:30 p.m.
