Jannik Sinner says no to Davis Cup and stays home

Jannik Sinner will not be at the Davis Cup in Bologna: the world No. 2 has not given his availability to captain Filippo Volandri. The quintet that will try to win a third consecutive world title consists of Lorenzo Musetti, Matteo Berrettini, Flavio Cobolli, Simone Bolelli, and Andrea Vavassori.

As per ITF regulations, a maximum of three named players can be changed until 11:00 a.m. Italian time on the day before the start of the Final 8 matches, which is Monday, Nov. 17.

The Blue team will make its debut on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. against Austria. This is the official schedule of the competition:
