Juventus market, double divestment coming after four nightmarish months

Juventus is wondering what to do with Lois Openda and Jonathan David, two of the big disappointments of the Bianconeri summer soccer market. Both the Belgian player and the Canadian striker are continuing to struggle under the Mole: even after Igor Tudor’s farewell and the advent of Luciano Spalletti, things do not seem to have changed.
In the last game in Florence, despite the Bianconeri team’s difficulties on the Viola pitch, the two players were employed very little, and only in the end of the game, another symptom of how they have slipped back in the hierarchies even for Spalletti.
January is looming, and anything is possible, even an immediate farewell if the right opportunity comes along. But according to rumors, the Piedmontese club’s orientation would be to keep the two players until next June, when they will probably part ways. The management wants to avoid mid-season revolutions and intends to maintain a deep squad to face more competitions.
No painful cuts in the winter market then, unless the right offer arrives, allowing ownership to recoup at least part of this summer’s investment. Both players will have another few months to try to turn things around and turn things around: if no reaction comes, a double farewell in the summer will be a foregone conclusion for both.
