Charles Leclerc: the touching tribute of Jules Bianchi’s father
A breathtaking photo and dedication.
Charles Leclerc had and still retains a very deep connection with the family of Jules Bianchi, as the late driver who came out of the Ferrari Driver Academy and passed away in 2015 was a friend, mentor and even godfather of the Monegasque now at the Cavallino. And it was to the latter that a touching social tribute came from Philippe, father of the unfortunate former Marussia driver.
Indeed, Philippe Bianchi posted on Instagram a photograph in which his son Jules and a still-child Charles Leclerc smile together. “Because this photo is incredible, because your family is so connected to mine, because I miss Hervé and I miss Jules,” Dad Bianchi wrote, also remembering the late Ferrari driver’s father.
“Never forget all the fantastic moments we spent together. Come on Charles for the Mexican Grand Prix, and never forget Jules,” added Philippe Bianchi. Ready, once again, to cheer Leclerc in the next Formula 1 round of the world championship.
