Biaggi: "I felt sorry for Rossi"

Max Biaggi at the microphones of GPone.com talks about the Lorenzo-Rossi diatribe that inflamed the last MotoGp World Championship.
“The one that just passed was one of the best world championships ever, uncertain until the last. As an Italian, I’m sorry it ended that way. Many don’t believe in it? They have to believe it instead. As an Italian I am sorry. That said Lorenzo made a beautiful championship and for victories, placings and tenacity he deserved the title.”
World Championship 2015: “Who will win it? Stoner! Joking aside, he amazed me. In my opinion Ducati did well to bring him back in. His presence will shake up the whole team, including Dovizioso and Iannone, who are beautiful riders anyway.”
The Corsair will commentate Sbk, but not for the entire season: “I didn’t feel like making a commitment to Mediaset for the entire world championship, but neither did I want to completely abandon what has become a pleasant habit for me. So I will commentate on Australia, from Milan this time, but I will not be there for Thailand. We haven’t made a schedule yet, but when I am there I will not be limited to just technical commentary. I don’t want to say more, it will be a surprise.”
Clear ideas for Superbike: “I saw how much Sylvain Guintoli did with Yamaha…but I say, watch out for Jonathan Rea. My opinion is that he will be the man to beat again this year. Johnny is very strong and I could weigh that in person: even when he had the Honda in his hands there were tracks where he was extremely fast, even faster than me, and I always gave him credit for that.”
Still a wild card with Aprilia? “No, I’m done with racing. I wanted to take off one last podium at the age of 44, and I succeeded in Sepang. Then, perhaps, without the crash in Race 2 it could have perhaps come even something more…a win? I don’t want to say, but the chances were all there.”
