Enea Bastianini makes a confession about Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez
Ducati centaur Enea Bastianini: “I’m not as magical as Valentino Rossi or Marc Marquez, they had an extra gear.”
Team Ducati Gresini centaur Enea Bastianini in an interview with Marca flies low despite winning three MotoGp races in the first part of the season: “I’m not magical, Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez were and are. They made history in this category because they had an extra gear.”
Bastianini’s goal remains to annoy the best in the category, and to end the year as the top Ducati rider overall: “Bagnaia and Martin? The goal is to shake them both, but they are very strong riders with whom there will always be a fight in every championship.”
Looking ahead to Assen, good feelings: “I am the one who wears the tires the least. I’m particular, I’m strange… I have to change a little bit. But, in general, I am the one who gets to the end with the most tires. It’s hard to go fast and not wear out the tires, and I do it by using the front a lot and skidding less with the rear wheel.”
