Allianz Powervolley, relationship continues with Pesaresi
Here is Pesaresi’s renewal
Allianz Powervolley Milano has announced the renewal of Nicola Pesaresi’s contract until 2023. The libero in jersey number 18 will thus remain in the shadow of the Madonnina, still defending the colors of the city.
The story between Pesaresi and Powervolley continues: having arrived in Milan in the 2018-2019 season, for the Loreto-born libero what is about to begin will be the fourth championship with the club of President Lucio Fusaro. It’s a story in the making with the leader of the second line who in these three years has demonstrated his qualities both on the court and in the locker room. Now at home the libero from the Marche region, Milan chose Pesaresi, and Pesaresi chose Milan not only for the chance to play in a club with which he agonistically shares goals and ambitions, but he chose a city where there is all the potential to make volleyball carve out its own space. An example of this was the camp dedicated to volleyball organized by Milanosport in collaboration with the players who define the hard core of Allianz Powervolley, Nicola Pesaresi precisely and captain Matteo Piano. A passion more than a job that feels the need to be shared and to be recognized: there is no more authentic way than to transfer one’s emotions for what one loves to do to younger people. So, a union of intentions understood in the round for “Pesa” that once again wants to make a difference on and off the field.
“Pesaresi’s extension is an indication of continuity on the part of Milan, as with Piano. It is an important result also for me, because it means that I can still count on the libero who has been with us these three years, who already knows the movements and who this year will have to further improve on some situations, – analyzes the Milanese coach – since the team we have set up is a team that will be able to give him those certainties that in the past perhaps we could not give Nicola. He will have to put something extra of his own this year, since he is the captain of the receiving and defense department, a department in which Milan will have to make a definitive leap this year,” coach Roberto Piazza said about the renewal of the class of ’91.
